Floor Pad Scrubbing
When choosing a pad for floor maintenance work such as automatic scrubbing or traditional buffer scrubbing, use the least aggressive floor pads that will do a satisfactory job. This helps prevent damage to the finish. Also, use a neutral cleaning chemical to prevent softening of the floor finish.
For light floor soiling, many building service contractors use pre-burnished pads with propane equipment. Using these pads can save time, especially when automatic scrubbing, and should be used on a rotation method, with automatic scrubbing, in some floor maintenance programs.
